Baptism means going all the way under the water. It’s a picture of burying your old life and rising up brand new in Jesus. It’s something you choose to do after deciding to follow Him, not what makes you saved.

Going fully under the water matches the "buried and raised to new life" picture the Bible uses. A few drops on the forehead doesn't tell the same story.
